Students Earn Top Marks At Science Olympiad

A group of students from Oldfield Middle School recently earned top scores in the national Science Olympiad.

Competing in the annual science trivia competition against middle schoolers from across the country, the sixth-graders placed third overall. Matthew Prieto placed first overall individually in the nation, and Guantian Tao placed first in the Earth Science category. Tied for second place in Earth Science were Alison Ryan, Chris Costa and Jacob Siegel.
