The annual Long Island Pride parade through Huntington village has been cancelled by its organizer, the LGBT Network.

Twenty-six apartments priced $2,200-$3,000 per month are set to come online this summer in Huntington village on the former Losquadro ice house property.

Town of Huntington Supervisor Frank Petrone said that three to four park rangers are expected to be hired in the coming weeks to help prevent crime in the Huntington Station area.
