Plans to construct a three-story, mixed-use building on New Street in Huntington village are being considered before the planning board.

Differing opinions on the planned Heartland Town Square Project were voiced Saturday in Dix Hills.

On Dec. 27, 1967 the Huntington Community First Aid Squad answered its first call for help from a Huntington resident. Fifty years later, the Squad continues to answer the call.
