The Townwide Fund of Huntington celebrated members of the community with big hearts at its 2017 Valentine’s Red Tie Gala, which was held March 9 at Oheka Castle in Huntington.

News 12 Long Island anchor Danielle Campbell served as emcee of the gala, and music was provided by the band, The Projekt, which had everyone on the dance floor.

This year’s honorees were Mike Cave, of Pink Tie, and 1st Equity National Title & Closing Services; Rich Cave, of Pink Tie, and 1st Equity National Title & Closing Services; Michael J. DiLeo, of Harris Beach PLLC; Asia Lee, of Asia Lee Fine Art; Stew Leonard Jr., of Stew Leonard’s; and Lonnie Sherman, of General Needs.

The TWF, which awards grants to support more than 30 local organizations that provide vital health and human services to the Huntington community, also thanked corporate sponsors for the gala, Canon and PinkTie.org, whose support aided the TWF’s mission.
The gala preceded the Townwide Fund’s St. Patrick’s Day Charity Run, which will be held on Saturday, March 18 in Huntington. Registration for the run is available online at Townwidefund.org.

After that, TWF is set to host a golf outing on May 11 at Cold Spring Hills Country Club.
