Burglar Arrested For Theft From Huntington Station Walgreens
A 25-year-old Huntington Station woman was arrested for stealing from a Walgreens located at 984 New York Ave. in Huntington Station at around 12:26 p.m. on Nov. 24, Suffolk police said. The suspect entered the Walgreens and took beer before she was arrested, according to police. Police have charged the woman with petit larceny.
False Returns At East Northport Stop and Shop
A 36-year-old Huntington Station woman was arrested at around 7:10 p.m. on Nov. 24 for making an illegal return at 454 Fort Salonga Road in East Northport, according to Suffolk police. The suspect was arrested after she attempted to make a fraudulent return in an attempt to deceive employees at the Stop and Shop, police said. Police have charged the women with petit larceny.
Home Break-in In Huntington
At around 12:40 p.m. on Nov. 22, an unknown suspect robbed a residence on Briarfield Lane in Huntington, according to police. Suffolk police said it is unclear how the suspect entered the home, but he stole several items from the home, including cash. Police have classified the incident as second-degree burglary, and are still searching for a suspect.
Trespass Trouble At Target In Huntington Station
A 52-year-old Huntington woman was arrested for illegally entering and attempting to steal from the Target on 124 E. Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station at approximately 1:34 p.m. on Nov. 21, Suffolk police said. The suspect, who had previously been given a no trespass warning at the store by police, attempted to make a false return, according to police. Police have charged the woman with third-degree burglary.
Hungry Thief Arrested For Commack Theft
A 52-year-old Mastic man was arrested on Nov. 24 for an incident that occurred on Oct. 30 at 5:17 p.m. at 6230 E. Route 25A in Commack, according to Suffolk police. The man entered the 7-Eleven and stole mozzarella sticks from the store, police said. He was arrested and charged with petit larceny.
