Cops Say Dad Drove Drunk With 15-Year-Old In Car

A Huntington Station father was arrested early Sunday morning for driving drunk with his 15-year-old daughter in the car, Suffolk police said.

While conducting a DWI patrol, Second Precinct Police Officer Joshua Parsons pulled over a 2006 Toyota Tundra driven by Cristian Quintanilla, 36.

During the stop, Parsons determined that Quintanilla was intoxicated. He also saw Quintanilla’s 15-year-old daughter in the car.

Quintanilla was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Central Islip and bail was set at $10,000 cash, $20,000 bond, which wasn’t posted according to court records. He is being represented by a legal aid and is next scheduled to appear in court Friday.            -WROBLEWSKI
