Preston Carey and Brady Cooke.

They might be 8 years old, but these two Northport Tigers are All-Americans.

Preston Carey and Brady Cooke, both of East Northport, were named Offense-Defense All-Americans while attending a Offense-Defense football camp this summer. The pair has been invited to participate in the 10th-annual Offense-Defense Bowl Week festivities, which are slated for late December and early January at Municipal Stadium in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Both Carey, a quarterback, and Cooke, an offensive tackle, play football for the Northport Tigers. The pair was selected by the Bowl Selection Committee for their all-star worthy play out of thousands of athletes from across the country.

The Offense-Defense Youth All-American Bowl is a part of Bowl Week, which also features an all-star football game showcasing eight of the top high school seniors in the country. The game has featured the likes of NFL greats such as Cam Newton, Joe Haden, Earl Thomas, and Dez Bryant.

Offense-Defense has been running full-contact football instructional camps for the past 45 years and currently operates in approximately 40 camp locations nationwide every spring and summer.
