Director Comes Home For Film

Director Dan Stone - a Centerport native - called cast members and extras to Greenlawn Park on Wednesday for the shooting of a project called “Good Friday” – a feature-length film that will tell the story of an estranged father and son who make their way back to each other.

The film - which stars 10-year old Broadway actor Colin Critchley - has also brought in several extras from the local community as well, as filming takes place on numerous local landmarks!

Arson Suspected In Prospect St. Fire

For the 5th time in 6 months, a commercial building in Huntington village has been damaged by fire.

But this time, police believe it was intentional.

Suffolk County PD Arson Squad detectives have classified a smoky blaze, which damaged an office building at 30 Prospect St. in Huntington village Saturday afternoon, as arson, a police spokeswoman confirmed Tuesday.
