Neighbors Decry A ‘Carousel’ Of Headaches

Huntington Stations residents who live near The Carousel strip club on Jericho Turnpike have recently reported cavalcades of disruptive behavior, including inebriated patrons who travel through their neighborhoods, arguing loudly into the A.M., dumping cigarettes, clothing, condoms onto their lawns - and even cases of them defecating and urinating on the residents' lawns.

Needless to say, the Huntington Station residents were irate.

Hundreds recently packed the South Huntington Public Library for a crash course in the ins and outs of establishing a neighborhood watch on their block.

The packed meeting was another outgrowth of increased activity in Huntington Station following the stabbing death of 18-year-old Walt Whitman High School senior Maggie Rosales on Oct. 12.
