The Town of Huntington’s first spray park officially opened Wednesday. It’s named after an NYPD officer from Greenlawn who was killed while on duty.

After being prevented from giving out samples at the weekly Huntington Farmers Market for the past month, vendors are hopeful that with a go-ahead from the state they’ll be able to resume the practice this weekend and moving forward.

The Town of Huntington’s Independence Day traditions went off without a hitch last week.
