A year and a half after Sarah Strobel’s lifeless body was discovered in the Froehlich Farms preserve off of Oakwood Road in Huntington, not knowing what happened may be the hardest part of all for those who knew and cared for her.

Read on to learn how some of Strobel's closest friends recently held a vigil outside the Suffolk Police Department’s Second Precinct in her honor and how these close friends and others continue to push for answers on a case where information has been incredibly sparse thus far.

Second Precinct officers have increased their efforts to prevent crime in a pocket of Huntington Station following complaints from residents.

This comes after three men were arrested Feb. 15 after they allegedly trespassed in the parking lot of a Huntington Station CVS store.
