Outraged Over Violent Crimes, Residents March On Town Hall
/In an emotionally charged night Tuesday, hundreds marched in the name of not only the slain teen Maggie Rosales (a Walt Whitman High School senior stabbed to death in Huntington Station), but also for the three other victims of unsolved homicides just within the year (including Station residents Danny Carbajal, 25, Luis Ramos-Rodriguez, 38, and Sarah Strobel, 23).
Following a deliberately peaceful and organized march, tensions flared in the town board meeting afterwards, as many Huntington Station residents demanded justice needed to be served and action had to finally be taken to stop the string of violent crimes that had ravaged the hamlet for so long.
