Evidence from a gas station near the spot where Maggie Rosales’ lifeless body was found and a blood trail leading to his home further tie the Huntington Station man accused of her murder to the scene, an assistant district attorney alleged this morning.

Allegations have been made that Huntington Councilman, Mark Cuthbertson, breached town ethics laws, and Cuthbertson in turn asked the ethics board to draft changes to the ethics code to better guide those who are bound by it.

After considering the question and considered this is a matter of New York State Law, this newspaper's editorial board met and agreed to unanimously to call on the town board to ask the New York State Attorney General to look into the allegations that have been posed.

Huntington Station resident Adam Saalfield pleaded not guilty to murder, after being arrested the day prior in connection with the Oct. 12 stabbing death of Walt Whitman High School senior, Maggie Rosales.

He was arraigned Thursday, Oct. 30 in First District Court and ordered held without bail.
