The body of 22-year-old Stella Y. Lee was found in a wooded area at Caumsett State Park Monday afternoon -- four days after she was reported missing.

Nassau police said an officer with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation discovered Lee’s body at 2:30 p.m.

Lee was last seen leaving her Great Neck residence in her white 2012 Honda at 3:27 a.m. on Thursday. She was reported missing the next day and police said in the missing persons report that Lee was possibly suicidal.

The case is still under investigation and police say no criminal activity involved in her death.

After an employee at Caumsett State Park found Lee’s car in the parking lot on Saturday, authorities began searching the area. The park, located at 25 Lloyd Harbor Road in Lloyd Neck, was closed during the search.

Several agencies were involved in the search, along with Nassau police, Suffolk police and State Park police.

The Huntington Harbor Master and 12 local fire departments -- including the Eatons Neck, Huntington, Northport and East Northport departments -- as well as the Huntington First Aid Squad, also took action in the search, said Huntington Fire Chief Jesse Cukro.
