Nassau ‘Kick-Off’ Run To Precede Annual Long Island Marathon

For the first time ever there will be Race Week Kick-Off Run prior to the annual RXR Long Island Marathon, Nassau Executive Edward Mangano said late last month.

The Nassau Department of Parks, Recreation and Museums has worked with RXR Long Island Marathon Weekend production staff to come up with a new 5K Course that finishes at the official RXR Long Island Marathon Weekend finish line in Eisenhower Park in East Meadow. The new 5K race will take place on April 24.
