A 20-year volunteer with the Plainedge Soccer Club was recently inducted into the Long Island Junior Soccer League Hall of Fame.
Joe Karam, who has spent the last 11 years as president of the soccer club, was inducted on March 3 during a LIJSL’s 35 annual convention, which was held at the Huntington Hilton.
Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano honored Karam for his induction, thanking him and the “entire LI Junior Soccer Club for their years of dedication and commitment to the LI Soccer Program and the community.”
