We are currently searching for an Excel Savvy Administrative Assistant to work onsite at our Huntington NY headquarters. Successful candidates will have excellent customer service and must be outcome-oriented. The ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail is essential. You will be fully engaged and busy from the first day.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, with our customers and internal departments
Ability to juggle multiple projects with superb accuracy
Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills
Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying to management
Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence
Perform data entry and scan documents
Manage calendar for Managing Director and CEO
Assist in resolving any administrative problems
Run company’s errands to post office and office supply store
Answer calls from customers regarding their inquiries
Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for Managers
Maintain office supplies for department
Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education above High School, BA/BS preferred
