DANU: The exciting
new Danu (368 New York Avenue, 631-549-5757) located at the
site of the former Wild Fin will be opening its door this
Saturday night, December 22. We’ve mentioned it here
before… our advice try the magical cuisine of Chef David
Nunez before Danu becomes the new Huntington hot spot.
NOMA: At the site of the former Indigo, NOMA
(70 Gerard Street 631-923-1570), the chic new deco restaurant boasts
black lizard banquettes, tin ceiling and merlot walls, and
opened this past weekend. The food and ambiance will be complemented
beautifully by the kitchen creations of Executive Chef and
co-owner Joseph Tomosino (formerly head chef at Piccolo).
The newest star in Huntington’s stellar culinary community
promises a memorable New Year’s Eve offering a 5- course
prix fixe dinner with many selections for the 7 and 10 p.m.
seatings. Black tie attire is preferred for the 10 p.m. seating.
