MONTEL DOES VITAE: Maryland meets Long Island with a nighttime
meal by daytime television talk show host, Montel Williams,
who dined with his wife, Tara Fowler, and friends at Vitae
Restaurant & Wine Bar (54 New Street, Huntington 631-385-1919)
on Friday, April 22. Williams began his meal with fried oysters
with rémoulade, sharing baked clams and crispy rock
shrimp. His main course of Vitae chopped salad and crab cakes
from Maryland, where the actor hails from, were followed by
a pair of desserts -- New York cheesecake and a pecan blondie
ice cream sundae -- paired with Moscato Dasti dessert
wine. Want to bring Mom around for her special day? The dining
room opens at 1 p.m. on Mothers Day.

is serving up fine food and jazz for Mothers Day, Sunday,
May 8 from noon to 5p.m. Enjoy live music with the Sweet &
Lo jazz quartet and a menu of Chef Steve Del Limas creative

3-course prix fixe menu, Tues - Thurs 5-7 p.m. Appetizer,
entrée and dessert for $27.95 per person. Thursday,
May 5 is excluded because thats the night of Perfecto
