COMING SOON: Steve Del Lima, previously executive
chef of Wild Fin and Black & Blue, is set to open a place
of his own. Perfecto Mundo will be a Latin fusion bistro with
an emphasis on seafood. Its located at the former Maize
Cantina, 1141-1 Jericho Turnpike, Commack, in the Northgate
Shopping Center.

Sunset Grille menu at Macs Steakhouse (12 Gerard St.,

prix-fixe menu for $26.95 per person, Mon.-Sat., 3-6 p.m.
Appetizer: start with a choice of Wedge Salad, Caesar Salad
or Lobster Bisque. Entrée: char-grilled marinated skirt
steak with crispy onions and veal jus; roasted free range
chicken; tilapia-broiled Hawaiian sunfish with sautéed
broccoli and white miso sauce; or grilled salmon served with
tomato and jumbo asparagus. Desserts include choice of cheesecake,
ice cream or sorbet, chocolate mousse cake, coffee or tea.
Beer and Chocolate: Hit the Northport Tasting Room (70

Aug. 28, 3-5 p.m. for a beer and chocolate pairing class.
Enjoy five exotic beers, matched with chocolates selected
by Roxanne Browning of Exotic Chocolate Tastings. The cost
is $50 per person for five pairings. Reservations necessary.
COCOFE GOES SEAFOOD: The lights have gone dark as Sallys
Cocofe has closed its doors, but the lights wont be
out for long. Nader Gabrin, chef/owner of Bravo! Nader, has
plans to open a fish house there.
