SPECIAL SLOES: The best barbeque spare ribs special
in town these days is at Smoking Sloes (847 Fort Salonga
Road, Northport 631-651-8812 www.smokingsloes.com). Monday
through Friday, $15.99 per person gets you all-you-can-eat
spare ribs with cole slaw, corn bread and choice of two sides.
Awesome! Smoking Sloes owner Roger Montagues dry-rub
ribs are smoked with love (very slowly, that is) until all
that goodness just falls off the bone. Its as close
to Southern barbeque as youll find this side of a North
Carolina roadside.
